Pachube is an Online database which connects sensory information from all around the world, for example energy consumption. Pachube was created in 2007 by Usman Haque and since has been a very valued tool in communities all over the world. Pachube was used to interlink Gieger counters in the 2011 nuclear disaster in Japan. Even though this is a free service there are no catches, unlike other websites where your data is owned by the website in return for the free service Pachube holds no rights to your data.
Pachube can even be connected to an arduino ( a sensor that responds to physical world stimulus ). This allows accurate data to be uploaded, without inaccurate readings.
